At the gates of the city of Bern
Close to the city center, a stone's throw away from the "wave" of the main train station, is the Veranda Restaurant. Despite its central location, it is a quiet oasis - a car-free area somewhat hidden by university buildings and behind the homely row of houses the Schanzeneck. It is an estate with an eventful history.
