Die Schweizerische Gesellschaft für IS-TDP bietet ein Curriculum an für Kandidaten, welche Technik und Theorie dieser Methode lernen wollen.
Die Ausbildung erfolgt durch Mitglieder des Schweizerischen Institutes, Dr. Davanloo selber oder ein nationales Institut eines andern Landes.
Das Curriculum erfordert folgende Voraussetzungen :
- entweder Arzt/In mit Spezialisation in Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie oder Psychosomatik
- oder Assistenzarzt/In mit dem Ziel des Facharzttitels in Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie
- oder Psychologe/In mit Universitätsabschluss im Hauptfach
- oder Fachleute, welche eine staatliche Erlaubnis haben, psychotherapeutisch zu arbeiten.
Die Ausbildung besteht in folgendem :
- 300 Stunden psychodynamische Theorie, davon mindestens 200 Stunden in IS-TDP
- 250 Stunden (Video-dokumentierte oder Life-) Supervision.
- 100 Stunden Selbsterfahrung, davon mindestens 25 Stunden in IS-TDP.

CURRICULUM IN ISTDP
Training Curriculum of the Swiss Association for Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (IS-TDP)
The Swiss association for IS-TDP offers a curriculum for candidates who want to learn the theory and the technique of this method.
The teaching is given by the members of the Swiss Institute, Dr. Davanloo himself or by renowned national institutes of other countries.
The curriculum requires a preliminary education:
- either as medical doctor with specialisation in psychiatry and psychotherapy or psychosomatic medicine
- or an assistant doctor with the aim to become a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- or psychologist with university degree as the main subject
- Professionals with the license by the government to practise psychotherapy.
The education consists in:
- 300 hours of theory including 200 hours in IS-TDP
- 250 hours of (video-documented or life-) supervision
- and 100 hours of self-experience, at least 25 hours of them in IS-TD
