CURRICULUM IN IS-TDP
The Swiss association for IS-TDP offers a curriculum for candidates who want to learn the theory and the technique of this method.
The teaching is given by the members of the Swiss Institute, or by renowned national institutes of other countries.
The curriculum requires a preliminary education:
- either as medical doctor with specialisation in psychiatry and psychotherapy or psychosomatic medicine
- or an assistant doctor with the aim to become a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- or psychologist with university degree as the main subject
- Professionals with the license by the government to practise psychotherapy.
The education consists in:
- 300 hours of theory including 200 hours in IS-TDP
- 250 hours of (video-documented or life-) supervision
- and 100 hours of self-experience, at least 25 hours of them in IS-TDP
